Beast Chassis Dominate Memorial Day Weekend USAC Action

Beast Chassis had a successful weekend in USAC competition scoring two wins in two of the biggest events on the 2009 calendar: the “Little 500” for Sprint Cars and the Night Before the 500 for Midgets. Dave Steele captured the 61st Annual “Little 500” at Anderson Speedway. Steele took the lead from eight-time winner Eric Gordon on lap 468 of the 500-lapper and dashed to his second win in the prestigious event. Chuck Gurney, Jr. also went to victory lane in a Beast Chassis, besting a field of 45 cars in Saturday’s USAC National Midget Car Series “Night Before the 500” 50-lapper at O’Reilly Raceway Park at Indianapolis.
